Our Story
Rob and Liz first came to know each other through online dating (Hinge specifically, when your mom asks why you aren't using it yet). They had their first date at the Whitney Museum in New York City, which proved to be a bit unconventional (neither of them knew how “interesting” the museum was beforehand). However, after they left the museum, they spent a few more hours together talking, bonding over their shared faith and love of the Beatles. The connection they felt that day has only gotten stronger as time has passed, culminating with Rob proposing to Liz on November 29, 2024 at Heckscher Park in Huntington, New York.

We have a hotel block at the Holiday Inn Plainview. The hotel is about 20 minutes from both the church and venue. Here's some information about reserving a room in the block:

Shuttle Information: We will also be providing a shuttle from the hotel to both the church and the venue. The schedule will be communicated closer to the date.
Getting Around
If you are traveling from New York City, we recommend taking the Long Island Railroad (LIRR). We suggest getting off at the following stops, depending on where you're going:

From these stations it is a short cab or Uber ride.
